Starfish Cottage is a traditional former fisherman’s cottage offering warm, comfortable accommodation overlooking golden sand dunes and backed by a nature reserve.

Starfish Cottage is situated in Low Hauxley, which is in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This traditional fisherman’s cottage dates back to the 1850s and is within 100 metres of a lovely sandy beach.

The Northumberland Coast and Countryside offer many attractions and activities of interest, from coastlines to  castles, historic houses to hamlets, and wildlife to water sports.

Alnwick and the Heritage Coastline with its super beaches and castles is a short, scenic drive away. Low Hauxley Nature Reserve is also within walking distance.  Summer boat trips to the RSPB Reserves on Coquet Island are available from Amble, 2 miles from the cottage, and there are water sports and kite flying with hire and tuition nearby.
